Restore System Restore?

My computer was infected with the backdoor.hogle virus. What a mess that
was!

Norton had me (1) turn off system restore (2) start in safe (3) delete the
virus from my registry and (4) run virus scan.

Now I've restarted in normal mode. Is it okay to turn system restore back
on?

Hi

If you turned SR off/rebooted/turned SR on again and then rebooted all the SR files would have been deleted and you are left with one clean SR point. It seems from your posting as though you need to turn SR back on again and reboot. After that, make sure that you have completely deleted the virus.
