Restore/rebuild

I have had a virus on my pc for a number of months now. It takes ages to remove and even when it appears i have removed it it returns a week or so later even if i havent been online. Therefore I am wanting to reuild my pc from scratch. Ive backed up any important files but dont know what to do with the system resore disks. Ive put them in but it isnt clear what I should do next. Any advice would be gratefully accepted

What make/supplier is your computer. Go to their website and you should be
able to get the relevant information.
