During an MS Antispyware scan this morning, I quarantined MyWaySpeedbar
Browser Plug-in and permanently removed it, so I can't unquarantine it.

However, this browser is necessary for logon to an online Blackboard class.

Can someone walk me through this, or should I admit failure and hire
someone?

After you hire someone

Open IE and choose Tool>Internet Options>Security> Custom
Level, scroll to "Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins",
select DISABLE, and click OK>Yes>OK

Previous post didn't explain fully what I'd done, which was to click on
"permanently..." after the quarantine.. When I click on brower restore,
this file does not appear, although others do. Result: no way, no how can I
restore the browser plug-in I need. The scan history shows the first
"infected registry key" as follows:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\{04079851-5845-4dea-848C-3ECD647AA554} .

Are you really sure about this? It seems unlikely. Just because you can't
logon to an online system now, it does not necessarily mean that the
"MyWaySpeedBar" was necessary for the login. There might be other things
preventing your login.
