When I returned from my New Years Eve reveling, my computer just wasn't the same. I went to use the CDDB Service (music recognition services) and there was an error message from Runtime, "abnormal program termination". I cannot seem to fix that error so I have tried to restore my computer to early on New years eve, but the Restore Point calendar will not let me go back to December.

Please, does anyone have any suggestions?
Annie
P.S. I entered the date of December 12.2003 for a "create your own" but that didn't have any effect either.

Annie;
If the Restore Points are gone, you can not use them.
You also can not create a Restore Point for a time in the past.
You can name them whatever you want, but naming them a date in the
past does not make it so.

Many things can cause loss of Restore Points, when they are gone, they
are gone and can not be recovered or used.
Some of the things are:
Available space on hard drive
Computer usage
Space you dedicate to System Restore

If you use Real Player, try doing without it for a few days:

And others.
