Restore Point

Is it a good idea to set up a system restore point on a regular basis. For
example, my computer is running great today, 2/12/04. Would it be a good
idea to set up a system restore point for this date in case I have to do a
restore in the future knowing that today my computer is running fine.

Restore points are automatically taken daily.
 
Hi, I usually just allow the auto restore point unless I
am going to install a new program , then I like to put a
manual point in just incase I dont like the program or if
it goes wrong then I can roll back instead of having to
uninstall which sometimes leaves registry entries in .
