I cannot restore my XP to any previous Restore Point. Has anyone experience this and if so, do you have an answer

Thanks.

Hi Taurarian

You have offered Nick too many options as the message has been posted in the xp.basics NG.

Do you get any error messages? The System Restore folder could have become corrupted. Try this:

Right click on My Computer, select Properties and then the System Restore tab. Enable 'Turn off System Restore on all drives' - reboot your PC. After the reboot go back into the System Restore options and uncheck 'Turn off System Restore on all drives'. Reboot your PC again - SR will then create a new Point for your PC.

Hi Will, will keep it simple next time.
