Thanks JJ for taking your time to reply. I wanted to adjust the space
allocated but didn't know how far back the restore points go. Figured if I
found the file it would show how many restore points there are.

In that case open system Restore and view the calendar.
You can easily see how far back the Restore Points go.
Once you know that, you can click "System Restore settings" and adjust
the slider accordingly.

Also, you do not want to delete the Restore Points directly from the
file.
Either adjust the space allocated to System Restore or use Disk
Clean-up to delete all but the last Restore Point.
