Hi all,

I don't know if it's a bug, but there's something strange happening on my
windows. For some time, for any reasons, Alt+tab is not working when trying
to switch to another program that is running. Clicking the program button on
the task bar is not working, too. After 20-30 seconds, it all comes back to
normal. Please help me on fixing this one because it's oftenly messing me up.
Unfortunately, I can't find myself any help on the internet. Thanks and may
the Window's God bless you!

I will Bless you in Ten (10) languages if you tell me what happen when
tried the System Restore.LOL
Did you run a through scan for the obvious, look in the Event Viewer for any
error messages(X) and post them or you can search the net.
Try to see if disabling the Add-ons will help:
1... First, try to clean up your caches, Internet files and delete cookies
by doing this:
Click Start >> Control Panel >> Double click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options.
On the IE properties windows you will see these Taps:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs |
Advanced
Under General Tab clear your History, Internet Files and Cookies.
Then click on Advanced tab and scroll down to under the Browsing Option:
[&] Browsing
[ ] Enable Third-Party browser extensions (Req Rest) uncheck this box.
Then click on Programs Tab and click Manage Add-Ons and Disable all non
Verified Add-Ons (You should Renable them later one-by-one and see the
culprit and update it or remove it.
How to manage Add-Ons:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/883256

Try clean Boot to eliminate any application of being the culprit, also does
this happen in Safe Mode?.
HTH.

I noticed that it's happening when copying files (e.g. icons, folders or
images). Any idea? No, it doesn't give any error.

Thanks for the reply.

Not sure

Do you shutdown your computer after use or leave it on 24/7?

Try Ctrl+Alt+Delete to select Task Manager and click the Performance
Tab. Under Commit Charge what is the Total, the Limit and the Peak?

How large is your hard disk and how much free space. Right click on
your C drive in Windows and select Properties to get this information.

What is your CPU processor speed? How much RAM memory? Right click on
your My Computer icon on your Desktop and select Properties to get
this information.

Select Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk CleanUp to
Empty your Recycle Bin and Remove Temporary Internet Files. Also
select Start, All Programs, accessories, System Tools, Disk CleanUp,
More Options, System Restore and remove all but the latest System
Restore point. Run Disk Defragmenter.

"Clicking the program button on the task bar" -do you mean Quick Launch?

Hope this helps.
