For some reason lately my computer had major problems (dial-up not
working, drivers disappeared). I was able to do a HP recovery which
fixed those problems. However, now it seems that my Java is not
functioning and had a message on a game (which wouldn't start) that
said, "graphic services failed to initalize. make sure video card and
drivers correctly installed."

Help. Any solutions?

Have you checked the path for your version of java? If not check the
path ( right click my computer, properties, advance tab, environmental
variables, system variables, path ) and see if java's path is there; it
should look like ( C:\Program Files\Java\Your version of java\bin; ).
This may or may not work, but it never hurts to try.

What do you mean by HP recovery? Do you mean you use the recovery disk
sent with the system and re-installed? If so you may have blown
away your Java. You can reload it from here:

Hey, I checked that and didn't see Java. I had Path
C/Windows/system32

I am beginning to think that it is not a Java problem but a driver
problem.
