Restore incomplete

I am trying to do a restore but getting 'Retore Incomplete'. I have tried a
couple of restore points but this has not helped. I am still unable to
carry out a restore.

Please can you let me know your comments.

Gadzooks, that might be one of the ugliest, hard to read pages I've seen,

POPRIVET, Picking up the thread, as I have the same problem; I went to
the site:

http://bertk.mvps.org/html/symantecdoc1.html

as suggested. Mine is Norton AV 2005, ver, 10.0.0.359. I used the
instructions for 2006 and earlier. No help. Still get
Restore Incomplete.
What am I doing wrong?

Hello POPRIVET, to bring U up to date, per some of the info in the above
mentioned link, I tried a restore in safe mode, and VOILA. It worked.
Short of removing Norton AV, thats the only alternative I can think of.
Tho't U'd like to know.

The best advise is to dump NAV. You will find several good alternatives on
the following page.
