Restore iedll.exe

VirusScan detected several trojans in my system and
deleted the files in which the trojans were present (when
I selected clean). Ever since, some pages (in particular,
my SBC Yahoo DSL start page) do not load properly: the
page loads, but something continues to happen in the
background (the action indicator at the bottom of the
screen goes through some gyrations) that inhibits
scrolling for several seconds. Also, when I navigate back
to that home page, the page does not display even though I
can tell that page has been loaded again (e.g., if I
attempt to scroll on the page from which I am navigating,
the home page immediately appears).

I suspect that the problems are due to the deletion of the
iedll.exe file by Virusscan. Virusscan also deleted
msinfo.exe, but my guess is that this does not affect IE.
How can I restore iedll.exe? Any other thoughts regarding
other possible sources of this problem?

Check your system for "hijackware":

You *must* seek updates for Ad-Aware, Spybot, etc., before each and every
use, even "right out of the box". But even then, they can't catch
everything. When all else fails, HijackThis
(http://www.merijn.org/files/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post
your files to http://forums.spywareinfo.com/ or the Spyware forum at
http://forum.aumha.org/ for expert analysis, not here.**

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.

So How Did I Get Infected Anyway?
