Restore English as default language

I have a computer running Windows XP Home. Some how the
default language was changed from English to a language I
cannot read. How can I change the default language back to
English when I cannot read any of the menus since they are
unreadable language to me?

You cannot change the language of an existing Windows insallation so
this seems to be a somewhat extraordinary problem. Try starting
Windows in the Safe Mode and scan the machine for viruses from here if
possible.

Click Start (bottom lefthand corner of monitor
Control Panel (a monitor with a check mark on it
Date, time, language (a globe with a calendar
Regional Language options (just a globe
Under Regional Options tab (first one from the left
Click the small down arrow till you see English or US
Click Location on bottom and change to United State
