Restore default on printer

My HP2600n printer says restore default please wait and the red light next to
the triangle with the exclamation mark in it never stops flashing. What can I
do so that I can print?

Have you tried pushing the "Select" button to go ahead with the restore
to factory defaults?

If you've tried that and it doesn't do anything, get in touch with hp
support.
