Hi,
Do you want to format and install clean? Or do you want to have a fresh
install with all your programs and data intact?
If (1), then boot the CD and run setup. Delete the existing system
partition, then create a new one from the free space. Format and proceed
with setup.
If (2), then start the same way, except instead of deleting the existing
partition, use the option to repair an existing one. This will preserve data
and programs, but revert your operating system to the original installation
(meaning you will need to redo all Windows Updates as well).
In either case, you will need your Product Key in order to complete
installation. Do not start the operation until you have it handy.
