Hi,
we accidently removed the partition on drive D, all files are lost if we
cannot restore that partition, or somehow copy the files on that partition
to C:
We think it was first formatted as NTFS, not FAT 32...

Oops. Gone. Sorry.

Hi Phil,

What you do here depends on your level of knowledge. There is a free tool
called mbrwork at www.terabyteunlimited.com that may be able to help you
recover the partition, otherwise you should seek professional help.

If all you did was delete the partition but have not repartitioned or
reformatted then there are several low cost utilities that can recover the
data. Try Ontrack's Easy Recovery which has a good reputation
http://www.ontrack.com/easyrecoverydatarecovery/ or do a search on google
for "data recovery software" and you should find something useable
