Anybody know of anyway of having a shortcut on the desktop, that when double
clicked, runs a script to send a signal to another machine on the network to
tell it to reset/shutdown itself?
Or is there any 3rd party software that has this facility without have to
run the software in full..
At the moment, I'm using PcAnywhere, which involves connecting to the
machine, until you pretty much see the screen, and then choosing "Restart
Machine". Even with the queue system, it partly connects, and then does the
reset, then closes the connection..
I would like something i can just double click on my main desktop, and have
no user intervention once it is all set up, and just shut the machine(s)
down.
Regards.
