i have a problem, when i strat up my computer, i need to wait more then 2 min. antil i can use the system, only when i hear the opening sound, then i can strat use the computre, what should i do?

Hi Yossi,

You can check to see what applications and services are being booted at startup.

I load 43 processes and 14 applications when I boot, and it takes about 5 minutes from power on until I am able to use the
system. I power on then go and get some coffee.

I notice that a lot of people complain about how long it takes to boot up their machine, and I just don't get it. What's the big
deal about a few minutes for the machine to load?

Hi yossi,

The msconfig utility is especially useful because it is a simple way
of disabling programs that start in the beginning.

Hope this helps.
