Restart Problem

I have just installed Vista RC1 Build 5600.

I have 1 problem.........when i press the restart button goes my screen
black an shows no signal. But my pc doesent restarting it's just going
something like a sleep function. Then i have to turn off the power and start
again.


Does anybody know what the problem is ??


My machine is a AMD 64BIT 3400+.
 
in vista there is a mode called sleep.
since the power/standby/restart buttons r reprogramable in xp and vista they
can do different things. in xp it is set to restart.(and not the windows
restart) in vista it might be set to the sleep function or something.
