The computer was installing automatic updates. It said to
restart the computer to complete it, so i did. Now the
computer wont load. Its stuck in a restart loop, and when
i go into the menu thing(little lost here, i mean the menu
when you old ESC while loading and get a list of ways to
load windows) none of those options work either. I think
it may be due to a corrupted file already on the computer,
but thats my best guess. Please tell me how to fix this!

Hi Rob,
Wat could work in ur case is to check wat program is
causing this issue....The best way to find that would be
to go ahead and do the following :
1.Power down the system manually.i.e Press and hold the
power button on the tower for atleast 5 to 10 seconds till
the whole system shuts down.Once the system is shutdown
please restart the system and as soon as u restart it
start hitting the F8 key on the key board every 2 seconds.

2.This will give u a lot of options choose the one that
reads " Safe mode " and hit enter a couple of more prompts
and u shall be in a fuzzy looking screen that looks like
the desktop of ur system.

3. here please follow the steps below :
Click on
Start - Run - type in " msconfig " (without the quotes )
under the general tab check the option that reads "
Selective Startup " and under that uncheck the option that
reads "Load startup items "

4.. ( FOLLOW THIS STEP ONLY IF U ARE RUNNING A WINDOWS
2000/XP)
Click on the tab for services and at the bottom of the
screen check the option hide all microsoft services and
then check disable all.Hit apply hit close and
restart.Tell me if the problem reappears.
