response to any answers I get from group

Soapy

When someone answers my question I get a notice in Outlook. I click on a
link, and web page opens, but it is blank,

this has been happening since I started using Vista and Explorer 70

So, I can't get any answers to my questions. I sure hope the same thing
doesn't happen with this email.

ALSO, how do we get someone to ALPHABETIZE THE DISCUSSION GROUPS when we are
asking questions.

When I ask a question there is a text box that says "please select a
discussion group."

has anyone ever looked at this thing? I want to ask some questions about
Vista but can't for the life of me deal with this huge list.

thanks

This approach may help:

As you appear to be using a web interface, start here to find an appropriate
group:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx

Click the + beside your language. then scroll down to Windows. In Windows,
open the Windows Vista category, then find a group there to
post in.

You should just eliminate this whole situation by using Windows Mail on
Vista, which allows one to select newsgroups on msnews.Microsoft.com along
with non-MS NG(s). Microsoft Communities allows Windows Mail to connect to
the MS NG(s).

And in Windows Mail, you can just use the Cntrl-key and H-key sequence to
see of someone has replied to a post you have made to a NG.

Hi Soapy,

Just to make it clear. The message you get should contain two links.

The "Click this link to continue receiving notifications for this
thread."-link will open a blank form, but it will ensure a second reply will
also send a message to you, as Microsoft by default only sends a message for
the first response you get.

There should be another link in the mail called "Read the Response", located
at the end of the first line. This should take you directly to the thread.
