We have a training room that is as a resource. Staff will often invite the
training room as a required attendee to the meeting instead of booking as a
resource. When this happens, the time booked for the meeting is not on the
training room's calendar. Is there a way to schedule the training room as a
required attendee and have the meeting show up on its calendar?? Also, is
there a way to schedule a recurring appointment with a resource?? TIA for
any help offered.

In all my research on Calendars, i have found that you
MUST book the resource as a resource, not an attendee.
You can use the "open other peoples folders" under File,
to view the conf. rm calendar from any workstation. Each
scheduled meeting will show up on the conf rm calendar.
Hope this helps!

Your clients need to be trained to invite the Resource AS A
Resource.

For the recurring problem, you need to open the Resource
account in it's own profile and change the settings in
Calendar Options | Resource Scheduling and allow
recurring booking to occur.

(This is assuming that you are not using an Event Script
for your resource account).
