Can anyone point me in the direction of resources - either web-based or a
good book - on deploying Terminal Services client on a Windows 98SE PC,
accessing a Windows 2000 (or possibly 2003) server?

The Win98 client machines will be attached to the local network, but I don't
want them to be able to access network services using the Windows 98
operating system.

Many thanks for any information offered.

Deploying the TS client on a W98 client is not more complicated than
installing the latest client and starting it. Download from

Denying network access from the W98 desktop is a problem which has
nothing to do with the TS client as such. You might try with a
restrictive Group Policy, but I've no idea how/if that works with W98
clients. Maybe an AD and/or W98 newsgroup for this part of your
question?

install the TS client on the 98 machines, all it needs is
tcp/ip, uninstall the client for microsoft networks, or
whatever it's called.
