Hello!
We have a problem with meeting rooms and other resources in outlook 2002 /
exchange 2000.
WE have a PA who manages the diaries for all rooms and prefers to manually
accept room bookings etc rather than them just appear in the calendars.
She has mulitple mailboxes in her outlook so she can manage all the in boxes
for the rooms etc which means the ability to select auto accept etc in her
outlook should be for all mailboxes in her client ??
We have established that some rooms are behaving how we would like - ie not
to auto accept resources are booked and others are not. I thought the
correct way to invite a room was to put the room into the resouces section
of a meeting request. However this causes the problem ( but only on some
rooms! )
If you invite the room as if it were a person ( ie directly into the "TO"
field) all rooms behave correctly.
Surely the resources tab is designed to invite rooms etc - why are they
acting differently depending how they are invited.
Please help !!!!
