Resource Scheduling Question

OK, I have set up my conference rooms as resources and everything is working.
However, I want to go one step further.

Is there a way to flag the conference rooms to default automatically to a
resource if I type its name in my attendee list (under the Scheduling Tab)?
This will help avoid some confusion since some users forget to click the
rooms and flag them as a resource if they do not invite the room as a
resource in the GAL.

Thanks!

I believe the Exchange Resource Manager tool from http:www.swinc.com can
help with this, but there's nothing like that built into Outlook.

If you are using, as I assume, Exchange server there is the AutoAccept
Agent event sink that can be used to make certain those appointments
sent to resources that aren't listed as resources (e.g.: listed
instead as required or optional) and as such receive the appointment
as an e-mail are indeed processed into the calendar appropriately.

See
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...e6-c603-491d-bf57-acf03e046bfe&displaylang=en
for the download.

A service is added (AutoAccept) that is automatically started with
Exchange (I have found that sometimes the coordination of these
services does result in my having to start the AutoAccept Agent myself
after the server is running -- but my little server is an all-in-one
server and there are known issues with Exchange services on an
amalgamted server... so, I chalk the non-automatic start of the agent
to this internal server 'conflict').

With this service running, I no longer have to monitor closely the
resource accounts for improperly posted appointment requests.
