My Resource Scheduling button is unavailable as well. The IT guy here can't
figure out why, so I'm online to see if anyone has found an answer. The trick
about this is that Resource Scheduling grants permission to others to view
your Calendar, but if the button is dimmed, it probably has something to do
with your computer's (or possibly Office's) permissions. Does anyone have a
clue about which computer or Office permission might be involved?
[Otherwise, I can happily drift along without anyone else being able to see
what's on My Calendar!]

Well, it turned out to be an extremely simple solution, at least in my case.
I had not used Outlook for some time, and I'd forgotten the learning curve
I'd had with it the first time. It turns out I was working offline... Once
I deselected the Work Offline item on the Outlook Calendar File menu, "Share
My Calendar" appeared on the left. I clicked it and gave others Reviewer
permissions (as recommended by my supervisor). Now I can see others'
schedules and they can see mine.
