I am not sure if this is the right group to ask this question but I've sorta
exhausted my imagination. I have a questions of this nature:
I've produced a floor-time allocation matrix and a pivot-chart which
depicts the by-the-hour floor-time distribution for various functions.
One of the functions is 'support'. Now, the support function has to be
increased to X, with X being distributed across the hours in accordance
with several rules: A) The total allocations of support + allocations for
other functions should not exceed the maximum time requirements for this
day; B) Extra allocations of support time should be centered around the
midday.
Anyway, if anyone is interested, I can email a worksheet.
This is a case of multi-conditional linear programming and I am seeking
examples of such.
Thanks a lot,
