When applications attempt to change the screen reolution,
they "bail out" and minimize. However, when the display is
already set to that resolution/color depth, the application
runs fine.
I just ran DXDIAG with DirextX 9.0a. The DirectDraw tests
went fine, but the Direct3D every test failed. The screen
goes black for a moment, and then the message "You
cancelled the test by pressing a key." pops up. I promise,
I wasn't leaning on the keyboard .
Updating my drivers didn't help. Upgrading to SP1 didn't
help. I'm lost.
