resolution problem

Hi. Every time I shut down the computer, (Windows XP, Packard Bell, Pentium
4), the resolution has to be reset to 1280 by 1024, as it keeps reverting to
800 by 600. I have tried to reset the computer to an earlier date to try and
get rid of this problem, but it says it 'cannot be reset to this date, and
there is no change to the computer'. I have tried several different dates,
with the same result. Has anyone got any ideas please? Thanks.

Reinstall the video drivers. If Packard Bell offers drivers on its tech
support site for your specific model machine, use those.
