Resolution probleblem with ATI 9500 video card

Hi:

I have an ATI 9500 video card which after years of working properly
will only 800 x 600 resolution. Otherwise, it works fine. I am using
version of catalyst software. Any ideas?

Make sure your monitor settings in the Advanced Display properties list
the proper monitor, or at least a "Plug'n'Play" monitor. If it's set to
"Default Monitor" the ATI driver may not know that the monitor supports
any higher settings.

This can also happen if you're set as "Plug'n'Play Monitor" and running
through a video splitter or KVM or something else between the monitor
and PC that interferes with the DDC connection.
