I am new to using RDC, and noticed that after i disconnect from the remote
computer & I do the ctrl+delete to get my screen back, the resolution is all
messed up (green background, super sized icons, etc). the only way to get the
original look back is to reboot the computer. any way around this? i
connect to an xp pro from a w2k pro computer.

thank you in advance for any assistance

I don't understand what you mean when you say "do the ctrl+delete to get my
screen back".
What are you doing and why? If you disconnect from a remote PC, your local
PC should work normally as it exits from the Remote Desktop Client
application.

When i connected to my PC, running XP Pro, from a W2K Pro PC, I noticed that
the XP PC showed a blue screen indicating that it is being controlled by
another. Which i understand is normal. However, when I disconnected the
session from the W2K PC, the indication that it was being controlled by
another remained. In the Information box it indicated to take back control
to do a Ctrl + Atl + DEL, which I did. When my screen reappeared that is
when I noticed the desktop was reset with large icons & green background.

iI hope this makes sense.

Thank you
