Resolution fu** up

I just bought a Dell Vostro 1400 laptop, and almost every time I close the
computer and open it again the resolution just got whacked!

Does anyone else have this problem, and perhaps know of a solution?

I suggest trying the Dell support link. It's probably some driver update
problem, and they would be the ones to offer a fix.

I would first make sure you have the latest graphics drivers, and be sure run
Windows Update. It seems to be a common problem and there are various fixes
including BIOS updates.
