resolution changes

Hi,
I was making a webpage with FP2k and I noticed that the front page
normal view, the preview and what you see when you load the web page in
explorer are 3 different things. So one thing I did to make things more
organized is put a big table all over the web page..like a grid and I
put my links and pictures there...
All is well except when I change resolutions. So running at 1280x1024,
or 800x600 changes the size of the table and screwes everything up.
Bottom line, I guess my real question is I have a webpage set up for
1280x1024 resolution. And is there a way for people with lower
resolutions or higher resolutions to see exactly what I did without
scaling? So 800x600 will be able to view a part of the web page and
have to scroll. 1600x1200 will see the whole webpage but kind of zoomed
out version...am I making sense?

Thanks

If you want everyone to see it the same, then design using a fixed table width of 750.

What real effect does page size (the page size display at bottom right) have
when viewing page in 2003. Is it just for display? I just noticed it
yesterday :-)

It lets you set a "screen" size for the design screen view
- try it

And it has no permanent effect on the code. In other words, changing this
writes nothing to the page that will affect how others see the page. It's
only for your own information while you are using FP.

That's what I thought.
