Hi all,
Is there any API in Windows CE which lets change screen resolution
programaticly?
I've seen some application which does it on Qtek 9000 so that means
that must be
some solution for this problem. Unfortunately I don't have access to
the sources of
this application so I can't check how do they do this.
Maybe you can help me?
Thanks in advance.

Resolution changes are up to the display driver and can't be done while the
device is running (you'd have to soft reset to accomplish it). I doubt,
however, that you're actually *ever* changing resolution on the device.
It's probably running at the highest resolution at all times and pixel
doubling for applications which aren't marked as WM5-aware. If you search
MSDN and the archives of this newsgroup for "orientation aware wm5 marking"
(or maybe "resolution aware", if you prefer), I think you find out how to
make your application use the higher resolution. MSDN online has a
step-by-step for this.

If you mean change whether the device is displaying landscape or portrait,
yes, there is an API that you can use to change that.
SystemSettings.ScreenOrientation.
