When I click on a link that opens a new window to view an image it no longer
opens to Full screen and there is no option to resize the window.

I've had this problem before and I know there is a solution but I can't
remember what or where I found it.

Is there anyone out there who cna put me right on this?

Many thanks in advance.

Rich

Hi Rich,

It may be a "by design" feature of the web site you are visiting where they
are specifying the size of the window to display their pictures in. You said
that ther are no options to resize the new window, so this will be the case.

You may try right-clicking on the image and selecting "Open Link in a New
Window" and depending upon how they are programming thier web site this will
open the image in a new window which you can resize.

Regards.

Hi Rich,

I whent to the site and had a look at the source code and from what I can
tell it appears they have changed the code to open the full window but did
not code for popup blockers and tabbed browsers.

I am using IE7 with tabbs and popup blocker enabled. When I click on the
Full Screen button it opens the photo in a new tab and I can hear the popup
'plop!'. The full window still has the toolbars on top and you cannot see
the full photo in the IE window.

A by design feature I think. You could try turning off your popup blockers
if you are using one. That may make a difference to how the full window will
show.

Regards.
