When right clicking on a .jpg image and selecting "send to e-mail recipient",
I used to get a pop-up "Send Pictures Via E-Mail - Windows can resize the
pictures you send so they transfer faster, etc. etc." It no longer appears,
so I have to edit each image and change the attributes manually after Outlook
Express opens with the image attached. How can I get it back so the function
is automatic. Thanks for any help.

Hello,

Go to Start => Run and type in (or Copy/Paste):
regsvr32 shimgvw.dll
{space after regsvr32}
Restart your computer.

If this doesn't fix the problem, follow these instructions:

Claymore,
Thanks for the input. Unfortunately nothing worked. I went to system32 and
moved the sendmail.dll file to the new folder (twice) and refreshed the
regsvr32 file (twice) and restarted as instructed. The only other thing I've
done lately is load the software for my new Canon digital camera, which
included "Zoom Browser EX" and "Photo Stitch". Could either of these be
causing the problem? Thanks for any additional input you might provide.

Hello again,

Yes, that might be possible. Does it correct itself if you uninstall
the Canon software (I'm not familiar with it myself)? It may override
the native utility in favour of its own. Worth a try, and will help in
isolating the cause.

You could try a system restore to a point before you installed the cannon
software.
