resizing photos

I used to be able to r.click on a picture, choose sendto/mail recipient and
given the option to re-size the image has disappeared. How to I get this
back? I use xp

Try this:
(it may restore your resize option)

go to...Start / Run...and type:

"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"
(without the quotes)(Yes, there's
a space between 2 and S)

Click...OK.

Also...

There is a free PowerToy called
ImageResizer...you can download it at
the following link:

http://tinyurl.com/36n

After it's installed, you can open any folder
that contains images and you will have an
option to resize. Just right click the selected
image files and choose Resize Pictures.
You can select one image or a whole group.

The program will place the resized copies in
the folder with your originals.

BTW...when resizing if you go to...Advanced
Button / Custom...and enter 640 in each field...
that will be a good size for e-mail purposes.

Amazing, I just started same problem and loaded PowerToy. However, when I
right click on image, the "Resize Pictures" does not show up. Will also now
try John's fix to resize dialog box, thanks
