I need to resize the partition sizes of my hard drive.
I have one partition of 37gb and one of 8mb.
I want to increase the 8mb to at least 768mb for paging
and spooling.
Is there a tool available that isnt costly like partition
magic(only useable on one drive)?
It seems like windows might have a tool built in somewhere
that i dont know about maybe?
i didnt see anything in KB about it.
thanks guys

Hi Gil,

Right click your My Computer icon on the desktop/Manage/Disk Management.

Other than that:

I looked and sure didn't see this option under Disk Management. What
am I missing?

Thanks

Don't monkey with that 8 MB partition! It is there for a reason.

To create a partition on a drive with Windows XP installed you will need 3rd party partitioning software. I use Partition Expert from www.acronis.com.

BTW you will not gain much by having the page file on a seperate partition on the same drive as XP. Having it on a 2nd drive would be the route to take. I have 4 HDD on my system and the page file is on the system drive - I moved it but saw no benefit - so back it went.
