Hi all.
I recently installed a new videocard (radeon 9600XT 256mb) and since i did
that i have to resize/ adjust the positioning of the desktop on every
startup. When the pc is started up the desktop is to wide and i cannot see
more than half of the left side icons and the AM/PM on my clock is also gone
and i have to shrink the desktop to make it fit again. Getting really tired
of it. Hope somebody can help me. FIC AU13 MOBO.
Thanks.

You have a CRT monitor?

Some of those monitors have controls for resizing and repositioning the
video signal, which you already know. Sometimes, though, there is an
explicit "Store" button that you have to press to make sure that your
settings are remembered.

KDS XTREME FLAT 17".. Sorry forgot to mention that. The manual says that
when using the OSD the monitor will remember the new settings if i let the
OSD screen shut down on its own. But it doen not.
