Double-click to activate the graph.
Drag the herringboned edges until they're about the size you want. Your
chart might get even smaller, but we'll fix it in a second.
There's a box on one of the toolbars at the top of the screen -- it has a
dropdown list of stuff in the chart to make them easier to select. It will
probably say "chart area" by default -- choose Plot Area instead. (Or you
can choose the plot area in the chart if you want, but I think it's hard to
grab ahold of on pie charts especially, which is why I'm telling you about
the other method!) Once you have the plot area selected, drag its corners so
they're close to the size of the herringboned edges.
Click outside the chart onto the slide to close the chart.
