Does anyone know how to resize the "Save As" dialog box in Vista 64?
It's just a little to small for my old eyes. In Vista 32 all you have
to do is double click the header and it goes to full page. This
doesn't work in 64. At least not on mine. TIA

Come on Guys. Someone, somewhere must have had this same problem.
HELP!

Which program are you in when you select ' Save As ' ?
Thanks for your response. Several different programs are affected:
Jasic Paint Shop Pro, MS Word, Atlantis WP, VuePro, and Super JPG.
Save from the internet is a normal resizeable box. Thanks again.

When I do a Save As in
MS Word 2007,
Windows Live Mail,
Paint.NET &
MS Paint,
for example, I can right-click on the top of the display and get a maximize
choice (and a Restore afterwards.)
All of this in Vista Home Premium - 64 Bit.
Did you try clicking around?
Geo.

Thanks for you reponses Dave and GS. Everything works fine with Vista
32 on my laptop. I have this problem w Vista Ultimate 64 on my Desktop
computer. No matter where I click nothing changes. I don't even have a
maximze button. An associated problem (I think) is that the first time
I use "save as" after startup it always displays icons vice list.

It sounds like a problem with Explorer.
I don't really have a clue as to what might cause this effect but
it may be a third-party program has installed a context-menu item
( the right-click menu) that is conflicting with Explorer.
Try downloading ShellExView and disabling all the non-Microsoft
entries, (they will be listed in pink). You may have to reboot to see
any effect. You can re-enable them if there's no improvement.

You'll need the 64 bit version, near the end of the page.
Thanks for your response Dave. No, it's wasn't an explored proplem, I
haven't used Explorer for years, I use Xplorer2. You were right in
that it was a third party program. It was caused by Vuepro. I had
reinstalled it a couple of months age and it doesn't use an install
program, it just copies the files into the Program Files folder. The
trouble was that it is such an old program that it copied them into
the "Program Files" folder vice the "Program Files (x86)" folder. I
just moved them to the x86 folder and everything works fine now.
Thanks for all the responses I recieved.
