Resize Windows

Normally when I use the mouse to resize a window in XP, I can see the
window as I am resizing it. Since my last install, when I resize a
window, all I see during the resize is the outline of the window. How
can this be fixed?

Control panel->display->appearance->effects

Then mark "show window content while dragging"
or something like that.
