Is it possible to resize the current partition with Disk Manager? By that I
mean resize the C: partition when Windows 2000 is booted to it.

No, it isn't.

As Dave says, it is not possible from within W2k. A 3rd-party utility
like PartitionMagic will do this, however.

From my experience using a third party utility works in the short term, when
I used one I rebuilt the system less than 6 months later - it kept crashing.
If I find a C: partition that's too small I reinstall the OS, it's a pain but
saves little headaches along the way and you'll sleep better in the long run.
Just my experience - hope this helps.

Interesting. I've used several versions of PartitionMagic many times
over the last decade to move/resize/etc and have never had a problem
then or later. Early on I made an occasional careless mistake, and once
or twice because I had a nonstandard partition or two wound up damaging
disk structures because PM tried to correct nonexistent "errors", but
that hasn't happened for years.
