resize partition and then dispointed

Hi. I have a problem with my E partition. I installed a Partition Magic 8.0 to do some resize with my partition, and when I started it, the Partition Magic gave some errors, and changed drive letter from E: to *: . I can't see that partition any mmore in windows explorer. OMG！I have more important data on my E drive. May i get my data back?Appreciate any help!

Resizing a partition is not something I would do if having important data on it anyway!

Did you not back it up before doing it?

If this don't help then i'm not sure. Maybe someone else will have a better way of doing it

Thanks TriplexDread,Ok my fault, i didn't back up them beforehand.The method in that link can't help, i have tried it after i encountered the probelm. How do u think this problem occur, is that due to PM 8.0 or my HDD?Anyway, i think the partition tool should be more credible even some one have valueable data on the disk drive.
