Resize/Move Columns in Subform?

In a subform (formatted as datasheet), when I resize a
field or move fields around in design view, the form view
shows the data as it was originally, unchanged.

How can I resize columns, or move columns, in a subform?
 
The Main Form is set as "Single Form", but there is no
Default View Option for the subform.

Open the Form that you're using in the subform control - this is a
property of the form itself, not of the Subform control on the
mainform.
