Resize montage layout in Photo Gallery

FrontPage 2003:
Is there a way of resizing the montage layout in a photo gallery so that it
is wider? I've got about 30 pictures in my gallery but it only shows a
maximum of four pictures in a row and this makes for a lot of vertical
scrolling. Being able to make the gallery wider would cut this down a bit.

In Photo Gallery properties click on the layout tab at the top and
chosse how many wide you like

Looks like you have to change to vertical or horizontal to change what
you are asking, doesn't work in montage mine is also grayed out
