i have succesfully moved my operating system and all files to a larger
harddisk using acronis true image the problem is that it has copied it into a
partition of the same size, leaving me with zero free space in this partition
, however i have another partition now left on the same drive that has 87Gb
free space, i have tried to resize partition c to take some of this free
space using acronis disk director but with no success, can anyone help please

BootItNG from www.bootitng.com has the ability to resize an existing
partition without destroying the contents. The 30 day free trial
version is fully functional.

Good luck
