resize handles in powerpoint 2003 don't work

I can't click and drag my resize handles, or move my placeholders around the
page.
The arrows are there, but nothing happens when I click and drag.
The only way I am currently able to resize is to use the auto resize format
box.
 
Does rebooting resolve it? I know it usually resolves all kinds of weird
things like that with 2007 here.

If it doesn't, what type of obect are you trying to resize and/or move? (And
which are you trying to do -- resize or move, or both?)
 
No, rebooting doesn't work. The problem has occured since I had PC cillion
installed on my computer.
It applies to all objects including placeholders, inserted text boxes,
inserted images.
I have previously been able to resize and move the items around the page.
Freehand still works properly.

In that case, I'd suggest uninstalling PC cillion and see if that resolves
it.
