Hi all, does anyone know of a (very simple, for me!) prog that will allow me
to just re-size *.GIF files?
I don't want to disassemble them or change them, I just want to resize them
to a certain size for avatars.
TIA,

You probably already have it on your PC - Microsoft Paint!

Open the image, then go to Image (top menu) >> Attributes/Stretch Skew.
You can do a lot in this little program.

I do simple resizing with Paint. Go to the Image menu, select Stretch/Skew
and adjust the Stretch percentages equally.

Non-animated gifs can be resized by about any graphic editor.
If you want to resize an animated gif, perhaps movies12 lite or movies11
lite will do that.

If not , you could extract and resize the frames with Irfanview and then
load them into Ulead Gif Animator 2.0.
