resintalling w2k

Hi All.

I have w2k serwer and 5 client comp ( w2k and winxp pro)

i have to reinstall w2k serwer, but how can i backup users accounts?

What exactly do you mean with "back up user accounts"?
Account names & passwords? Account data? Group
membership?
 
Hm... In other words...

I will be reinstalling w2k server it is domain controller, and its just file
server ( no exchange or something)... and... in that domain are 5 client
computers ( 3 w2k and 2 WinXp Pro...)..and i'd like to after reinstalling
that server that these workstations work just like before reinstaling that
server... i mean that users profiles on these workstations were unchanged...

Since user profiles are usually stored on he workstations
and NOT on the server, they are not affected by a
re-installation of the server.
 
The users are all going to get new local profiles. You can logon once to the
new domain then run regedt32.exe and navigate to;
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
locate the new profile SID and edit the Reg_Expand_Sz 'ProfileImagePath' to
point back to the old domain profile.
