My ISP are having som trouble with our VPN-tunnels and the tunnels gets
disconnected frequently.

I need a way to force my RRAS to reconnect the VPN altough the status is
unreachable.
I have read KB 262990 about some kind of retry interval
(http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=262990) but I couldn't find anything
about how to configure that interval.

Are you referring to demand dial connections between RRAS servers ? If yes,
then demand dial has its unreachability timeout (i believe 5 minutes) due to
which it won't reconnect immediately.
If you are referring to normal VPN client connections - you can change the
reconnect time in connection properties (under Option tab)

Yes I am referring to dial-up VPN.tunnels between RRAS servers.

According to KB262990 5 minutes is only the time interval used when trying
to reconnect an unreachable connection the first attempt. The second time it
increases the interval before retrying again, the third time the interval
increases again and so forth.

Is the article wrong or is there a way to stop the interval from growing
between the attempts?

The article is correct. The unreachability time increases (max is 2 hours)

OK. But now you have got me a little confused.
In the example in the article, attempt 8 states a 10 hours Time Interval?

/Dennis

My bad - the article referred was for 2k. I think the value is reduced in
2k3.
